Thirteen reasons why by Jay Asher
Excellent first novel by Jay Asher, he is someone to watch out for. the concept of this book is amazing. voices from the past and don't you just wish you knew what happened behind the scenes of your school companion lives. scarey thought to open a package and find tapes that contain the voice of the girl you loved who commited suicide only a few short weeks earlier. Chills me. Get it Read it.

The absolutely true diary of a part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie
AMAZING story, i finished this book on the airplane and was crying like an idiot, i apologize to my row mates. but the books was fantastic. Junior is a character that i will never forget, strong, brave and funny; true characters of Native Americans.
Junior decides that he needs to attend the all white school in spokane where he will further his education. By leaving the reservation he will lose his best friend and become a traitor to his people. But the truth and knowledge that he learns along the way only makes him stronger.

Naomi and Ely's no kiss list by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
i think i wanted to say GROW UP to Naomi the entire time in this book. i know Ely kissed her boyfriend, but come on she didn't even like him really.
their friendship should have been able to survive this after all the other situations they survived. this was a good read, but i did like Nick and Norah's infinite playlist by the same wonderful duo a whole lot better.
Naomi and Ely have been friends and neighbors forever, but that first year of college really tests their friendship to the fullest.

Loved this new vampire series and can hardly wait for book 2.
just when Zoeybird thought that things couldn't get worse she ends up getting marked. Marked to go to vampire school that is, to learn all that is vampire and to help with the change. but not all those who are marked will survive the complete change.

Evolution Me and Other Freaks of Nature by Robin Brande
Not the greatest teen book i've read. the main character Mena is not quite a strong girl and doesn't really pull it together in the end when it wraps up. the book was frustrating at times because of the religious aspect, but quite interesting the arguements that were made. i just wish that Mena had been stronger and stood up for what she thought was right.
Mena's been kicked out of her church group and no one will talk to her - not even her own parents (hello their supposed to be adults and mature (my thoughts)) she meets casey her lab partner in science class. things begin to bubble.
